The Holy Straw Co. is UAE’s first-ever reusable straw company. We aim to revolutionise the use of single-use plastic straws to save our planet, oceans and marine life from tonnes of plastic waste. As a 19yr old environment and animal lover, it has always been my vision to serve our planet. While I was casually watching a documentary on Netflix, the horrors of plastic waste contaminating our oceans and landfills in a way awakened me and pointed towards the urgency revolving around single-use plastic. Desperate to switch to reusable straws, I realised there weren’t many options around here in the UAE. Dull colours, poor quality and plastic packaging were some turn-offs of the metal straws available in the market, thus – The Holy Straw Co.
